RESCUE LINE

If you see a pet dog that looks like it has been given up or a dog in distress, you should firstly try and secure the dog, give it some water/food and then either try to take the dog to the shelters mentioned in the Rehoming Centers in Bangalore page​ or if the dog is wary or a runner, then try and get in touch with the organizations below.

If you have requested for the dog to be picked up by a shelter or rescuer then please do bear in mind that you need to be where the dog is to help the rescuer identify the dog.  Most times, they might take awhile to reach the spot where the dog is, depending how far they are and on the number of rescues that they have lined up for that day. Please be patient and do contribute as all these organisations run on donations.
